Sun., July 28th 2pm -6pm
The Sustainable Florist Club is organizing a free community event at The Infinite Monkey Theorem celebrating community and sustainability!
Sip a tasty beverage on the patio of Infinite Monkey Theorem while learning all about composting, sustainable floristy, and the beauty of local flowers.
A group of incredibly talented local florists are teaming up to design a gorgeous floral installation to serve as the centerpiece for the event. The design will be created with local and US grown flowers, sustainable mechanics, and recyclable materials. Visitors can interact with and take home these blooms to learn more about the importance of sustainable floristry!
SAME Cafe will have their food truck on site and Compost Colorado will be there to share with you the magic of composting.
Food and School Supply Drive
The event will also serve as a community drive to collect nonperishable food items and high-need school supplies to donate to Metro Caring and the DPS Foundation. Come with the following items in hand to help us make it a success!

Dry erase markers
Ziplock bags

Markers, crayons, pens, pencils
Loose leaf paper

Our mission is to foster a safe and inclusive community for florists centered around conversation, collaboration, and support, to nurture a culture of sustainability.
The Sustainable Florist Club was founded by Emma Van Vranken (Emma Lea Floral), Sheilan Mueller (Yarrow & Spruce), and Kim Zimmerman (Rowdy Poppy). Each of us is deeply passionate about sustainability and have shaped our businesses with those ideals. This passion brougth us together and has inspired us to help others incorporate sustainable practices into their own businesses.
Geared toward Colorado market but applicable to any Florist!
